Casey Clinger Scheduled to Make Collegiate Debut at BYU Home Opener

Casey Clinger is scheduled to make his collegiate debut Saturday at the Autumn Classic, according to a BYU preview of the meet.

The BYU freshman will join a core group of veteran runners, including junior Rory Linkletter, who finished runner-up in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships last spring.

Clinger twice won Nike Cross Nationals while he was a student at American Fork UT. Both years, he led his team to runner-up finishes.

The other teams competing in the Autumn Classic include Weber State, Utah State, Westminster College and Dixie State.
